CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 GMC Savana, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 GMC Savana is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Douglas J, owner of a 2008 GMC Savana from Fort Mill, SC

The paint sent was the right color. It sprayed on good and covered well. I was pleased.

David H, owner of a 2007 GMC Yukon from Canal Fulton, OH

I have been told that the color on my GMC yukon is made up of 4 different colors. In the recent past I purchased spray touch up paint from my local GMC DEALER. It matched as well as a black sock on the right foot and a brown sock on the left. Kinda OK, but not quite exact. The automotive touch up products I have purchased and used are EXACT color matches. I was contemplating either replacing the parts that were dinged and had many chips (door guards) or sending it in for a $450.00 respray. Less than $50.00 in materials and two hours of work, my Yukon looks as good as new. This manufacturer and the product they produce are superior to any other duplicate color out in the market place.

Jon-Ray, owner of a 2007 GMC Yukon from Spring, TX

I purchased to touch up the front bumper of a 2007 GM car Yukon as the bugs had done their damage on the paint. I sanded, primed with the primer that was sold and recommended. I have put almost two cans worth of clear coat that I also bought from the site and the gloss richness is not there like the factory paint. I plan on wet sandi g and tryin to polish to see if that helps. The cans spray smooth and lay nicely. I only had one drip that I was able to sand out after it dried. While the gloss effect is not what I hoped for, it does look better than before. [ATU Note: The trick is to have low humidity day (don't paint when it's very humid or dewy out). Spray 4 wet but not drippy coats waiting 10 minutes between coats. The next day you can buff with some fine rubbing compound and a soft cotton cloth by hand. Or use the aerosol 2K urethane clearcoat.]
