To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. 2006 GMC canyon had sun damage to the nonmetallic fender flares. Took them off, sanded them down and used your paint to repaint them. I was worried that the paint might not match since the truck sits out in the hot Nevada sun. I have kept a good wax on the truck so when I put the fender flares back on it was a perfect match. I am very impressed with the paint. It went on smooth and covered great. I will definitely be ordering more paint for some other vehicles I have.
