CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 GMC Sierra, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for GMC paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 GMC Sierra is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Currently painting it it's a great match to factory color and was cheaper then my local paint store.

Charles J S, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Chatsworth, CA

Another exact match. This time it is black

Robert A, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Snohomish, WA

This is the second time I have used their products and I am 100% pleased. The first was for my 2008 Mustang GT/CS where I did an entire bumper which came out beautiful. Now, I am restoring a 2002 GMC - Hood and fender and their paint match was perfect. They are fast to process also as I ordered Tuesday (late) they processed Wed. and shipped Thursday. Please note also, their primer is pretty amazing also. I don't use the clear because I use a 2K clear (use a respirator) but if its like their primer and paint, you are getting top notch material.

2002 GMC Sierra, Sun Blast Yellow. Perfect match! Thank you.

Happy Customer, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra

We are very pleased with the service we received and the paint.

Hunter Boyer, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Dallas, Tx

I detail and paint cars for a living, I had a can of clear coat someone had given me and was skeptical about using any paint and or clear coat from a can of air. Well I didn't have any choice or any air gun clear coat other than the old can with half a label missing that was in my detail trailer for almost a year. I used it and fell in love, it went on without any effort. It looked better than the factory paint. I knew I had to buy more but all I had was a third of a label. So there I was going through my empty life trying to find her (brand name) and I stumble across the website and boom my life has meaning again. Yes it sounds like a cheesy movie but use this product and you will too think you're in love again. All kidding aside I will be buying more of this brand and will be trying the ready to spray automotive paint, if a can that was half empty and clearly not kept in doors and room temperature can lay on as good as air gun quality, it will be a fantastic showroom quality paint job. Thank You Don't know how y'all do it but it works, Hunter B

James W, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Harrisburg, NC

Paint looks great. I do have a paint line where I taped around a rusted area. Any way to remove the paint line (total of about 10 layers of primer, paint and clear coat). Thanks

Byron C, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Chittenango, NY

As close as I can tell, your color match-up for my truck is dead on. I am really amazed at the accuracy. Thanks so much and I will definitely pass it on.

Alan A, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Woodstock, GA

The color and the urethane clear coat matched my truck perfectly. The instructions on the website were also helpful. Make sure you can paint in a clean environment. I did get some trash in the finish but was able to wet sand with 1500 grit paper and polish back to a perfect shine.

Jonny R, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Leeds, NY

Paint was excellent. Only problem was the rest of the paint on my truck was fading a bit. But it still looks great.

James S, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Warsaw, VA

Automotive touch up paint is the best paint I have ever used I bought some oem fender flares to put on and local body shops wanted $ 550.00 to paint them my brother told me about this paint he said he would paint them for me so I decided to try it. Matched perfect look like they came from the factory and he used the aerosol can no paint gun all the paint and clear and supplies were just 108.00 and my brother did not charge me a dime. The best paint ever I did not think it would look good doing it with aerosol cans I admit I am wrong just try it you will be happy with the results. Just follow the instructions on the can exactly and it will work.

Dave B, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Mission Viejo, CA

It's all good!

Robert C, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from San Lorenzo, CA

Great color match. Filled in some minor chips in the paint that were annoying to my eagle eye. I cant find most of them now. More than pleased. Thanks

Thomas S, owner of a 2002 GMC Sierra from Dryden, NY

Perfect color. Will buy my paint from here every time. Thank you!
