CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 GMC Medium Duty, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 GMC Medium Duty is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mike M, owner of a 1998 GMC Sierra from Morgan Hill, CA

Automotive touch up did a great job mixing the pewter color for my 1998 gmc truck. Thanks

James H, owner of a 1999 GMC Sonoma from Deland, FL

I needed to match the dark blue paint on my 99 GMC Sonoma that had clear coat issues. I ordered multiple cans of base coat hoping it would match my 20 year old truck, well it did. Actually I ran short and called to see if I could get more paint in a hurry, they responded and I received my second order in just a matter of a few days. I can't say enough about their service and quality of product, it has always been great! If I every need paint again, I will not hesitate to use them again.
