CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 GMC Medium Duty, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 GMC Medium Duty is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

William T, owner of a 2000 GMC Full Pickup from Charleroi, PA

My truck developed a rust hole in cab corner, rest of truck was great. Obtained patch panel formed in and used paint and clear, can't tell. Thanks.

William M, owner of a 2000 GMC Sierra from Trenton, NJ

I repaired some rust on the bed wheel well and drivers rocker panel prior to selling truck to my brother. The color match and ease of use was very good. The truck has 197000 miles and is 15 years old. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.
