To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1993 GMC Suburban, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I am impressed ! 10 years ago I ordered and picked up a lipstick size vial from my GMC dealership parts dept. and the color was correct, but the contents were dried up and application was more like dabbing on glue than paint. The Automotive touch-up bottle I purchased here is the exact correct color, the price was one quarter of the GMC vial and the consistency is perfect - like this was still 1994. I ordered the micro brushes with the bottle of paint , which I didn't know I needed but these are perfect for painting out scratches, which are narrow compared to the bottle brush.
