CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1976 GMC (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1976 GMC (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Thomas U, owner of a 1976 GMC from Grand Junction, CO

Really great match for a 38 yr old vehicle, can't tell where you started and ended. Impressed with the spray can too, no clogs or drips. Thanks

Richard K, owner of a 1977 GMC from Northport, NY

Color was a good match. Whst I would like though is a spray nozzle that would spray amuch smaller are, perhaps the size of half dollar so you could prepare and spray small dings without creating a much larger area to feather in or wind up with thick edges from masking tape that would have to be feathered. I think this would be very adventageous.

Mike M, owner of a 1998 GMC Sierra from Morgan Hill, CA

Automotive touch up did a great job mixing the pewter color for my 1998 gmc truck. Thanks
