CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Ford Ranger Wildtrak, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for the Ford paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Ford Ranger Wildtrak is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kelly M, owner of a 2009 Ford Escape from Golden, CO

Paint sent matched perfectly as did the past orders when used on my vehicle. Thank you very much. My friends will be ordering paint from your company when they need to. Again, thank you very much. Kelly

Warren E, owner of a 2007 Ford Taurus from Los Banos, CA

I used to paint cars for a living many years ago, and I remember working hard to get that perfect blend on spot repairs, by thinning the paint more and more as you blended a panel. I say this only to illustrate how amazed I was with your new paints. A near perfect match in just a few coats with you product. I was clearly amazed how easy it was to do the spot work. So I decided to refinish the complete hood. Your paint covered well and the clear coat topped off both the spot repair and the complete hood, with a near perfect match with the fenders. The only problem I had with painting horizontal surfaces was your spray cans dripped after a bit of use causing splotches that of course I didn't want. So I would advise anyone doing horizontal surfaces to order ready to spray material to use in a paint guy of some kind. Overall I was more than satisfied with the results using just spray can to professional looking paint unmatched anywhere. I am sure I will be a repeat customer.
