CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Ford Five Hundred, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for the Ford paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Ford Five Hundred is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Pam D, owner of a 2005 Ford Five Hundred from Visalia, CA

Recently purchased a used car that had a few scratches and minor dinges to the paint. Figured I would give your product a try and I am really glad I did. Can't even tell where the minor scratches were and some of the more noticeable ones are much better. Would recommend

Bruce K, owner of a 2005 Ford Five Hundred from Barryton, MI

TOMMIE FREEMAN 73 13 DELMAR BLVD UNIVERSITY CITY MO 63130-4108. After using the product I was amazed how it turn out. If I had taken it to the body shop it would have cost me at least a couple of hundred dollars. Now I can tell my friends that I did it under fifty dollars. I'm glad to have found you.

Lee S, owner of a 2005 Ford Five Hundred from Getzville, NY

Good color match.

Bruce K, owner of a 2005 Ford Five Hundred from Barryton, MI

I purchased Pearle Blue to repair several places on my Ford 500 and it was a perfect match. I also ordered a Dodge color Atlantic Blue for my daughters Durango, paint matched perfectly again and she was very pleased with her dad. Only issue I had was I had to call to make sure I used the correct clear coat, for the urethane. I had two cans of enamel acrylic clear in the shop and thank goodness your people were at the other end of the phone or I may have used it on my project and ruined it. I learned a lot and enjoyed the results, recommend them highly. Local shop mixed me a up a can of what was supposed to be the Ford color and it didn't even come close. No pearl and darker.

Mike M, owner of a 2005 Ford Five Hundred from Andover, MA

Needed to touch up drivers side lower door panels after 125,000 miles of normal wear. White color matches the original above the molding spot on!
