CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Eagle Vision, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Eagle paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Eagle Vision is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Andrew F, owner of a 1997 Eagle Talon from Edmonds, WA

This touchup paint is wonderful, probably the easiest time I have had painting parts. I bought both an aerosol can and a pint. The aerosol can sprays evenly and doesn't sputter I was able to spray thick coats with no fear of the paint running or dripping. The pint made me nervous, I have an exotic paint color that includes both metallic flakes and pearls as well as 3 primary colors. I used a standard airless paint gun, and it came out runny for the first little bit and started to separate on the speed shape, while drying. I pulled out another speed shape and this time it came out perfect, not a shade off OEM. Used this paint on plastic bumper reinforcement, can't wait to see how well it does on my fibreglass hood. Polo Green Metallic pint Kalama Black aerosol

Robert F, owner of a 1996 Eagle Talon from Cresson, TX

So far I cant believe how close to the original color this came! I had paint on my hood that was just gone so I put it all over my hood and it looks SO much better! I just ordered the clear coat to put on top of it. Hope I get the same great results as the base coat! But for now I couldn't be happier without going and spending hundreds of dollars at a paint shop! Thank you!
