To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. My 2015 Chevy Spark is "Salsa" red. The name of the color on the web site was something else, but it was supposed to be correct for my car--and it was! A perfect match. I had a small scrape on my front bumper, and the base coat color and shiny over coat blended perfectly. It was also considerably cheaper than similar car paint from other vendors.
