CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Chevrolet HHR, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for Chevy paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

We probably have it.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Chevrolet HHR is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Joseph M, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Rochester, NY

Great Service and quick turnaround, paint matched and was able to fix scratch. Can not even see what was damaged.

Judy C, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Caledonia, WI

We were happy with the color match of the paint....nice to get the color exactly for the car instead of trying to match it up at the Auto store. Tried that and it wasn't a match. Thank you.

Ken R, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Johnston, RI

Good match with paint. Fast service.

Rick C, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Sugar Land, TX

I had to replace a bumper on my 2009 Chevy HHR and decided to paint it myself. The paint I bought from your company matched beautifully. Thank you so much. This saved me a lot of money being able to do it myself. I will recommend you to all of my friends.

Rick C, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Sugar Land, TX

Paint matched beautifully!! I can't even tell that my bumper had to be repainted. Thank you so much, I saved a couple of hundred dollars doing it myself. I'm going to get a couple more cans of paint just to keep handy.

Rick C, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Sugar Land, TX

The paint matched perfect. Cannot tell where it was repainted. Very satisfied with the paint and clearcoat.

Donald M, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Middletown, MD

A dump truck threw a rock and blessed my car with a pretty good "ding" that would cost >$300 to repair. For < $30, I was able to clean, prime, touch up and seal the ding, thanks to Automotive Touchup. I am confident the spot will not rust and while still somewhat noticeable because of the indentation, (the color match was excellent), what I notice more is the $270 that's still in my wallet. Thanks, folks, for the easy to follow step by step directions! Don

Tom Johnson, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Greenville,SC

Thanks for the help on paint codes!!! Great site, Tom Johnson

Dwight W, owner of a 2009 Chevrolet HHR from Greenville, MI

I haven't checked this out yet, but if it's like the order that I made last year, it will be perfect.
