CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Chevrolet Captiva, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Chevrolet Captiva is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Terry A, owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander from Renton, WA

I have a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander Van. For some reason the side rails started looking like they were rusting. Which was weird because they are plastic. But after sanding and rubbing I was able to remove most of the rust like stuff. That left me with scratches and sanding marks. With your perfect match touch up paint, I was able to return the rails to a perfect match. That your company for delivering a product that actually does what you promised it would do.

Stan R, owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban from Goose Creek, SC

I have been using Autotouchup Products for several years, while customizing "Engine Covers" for the 5.7 HEMI Engine. I have sold over 70 of these covers, with the best comment being the paint I used. It has always been of superior quality, been the exact color I needed, and it lasts thru almost everything. I recently did a touch up on my girlfriend's mother's Suburban ( So you know THAT'S gotta be right), the finished product was amazing. Can't tell where the re-paint was done; Isn't that how it's supposed to be..? THAT is the reason I keep coming back here for my paint needs. Thanks again, great products. Stan Reeves
