CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Chevrolet Camaro, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Chevrolet Camaro is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Louis L, owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Express from Nashua, NH

Color match was very good. Getting repaired and "old" surface to match is more of a challenge. I will have to wait for warmer weather since our Chevy van does not fit in the garage. One suggestion...I am not sure if there is some sort of a fine abrasive "a la stick form" that can be used to "smooth" out the rough spots. If so this would be useful...perhaps you offer one and I did not understand its usefulness?? Perhaps an online video at your site as to how to accomplish this task would be helpful. Again I am very happy with the color match, but my repair technique requires more practice.

Mark C, owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Express from Upper Marlboro, MD

I have a fleet of 30 white service vehicles that are lettered with our name and phone number. The older vehicles had paint peeling off the hood and rear doors. We wash our vehicle daily as appearance is important. The cost to "touch up" the hoods and doors at a local body shop was over $1000 each. I was able to get them ALL back to looking good with two cans of paint and two cans of high gloss finish for way under $100. They look good driving down the road again and stopped at the red light!!!
