I have an old Sub that still looks good save the two rust spots I repaired. The vehicle still runs good so it's worth the work. Like my other purchases for other vehicles, it was a spot on match. The color matched perfectly. My body work was good enough. But, I bought clear coat from another company and ruined it. I needed to take it to a professional to fix it. If I ever try anything like this again I will try Automotive touch up's clear coat as well.

The paint I bought was a perfect match. The problem I had was with the clearcoat that I got from another company. I have to now go to a bodyshop and have it all done over. If I ever try something like this again I am going to try the clearcoat in an inconspicuous area before I ruin my whole hood. I would use your paint again definitely. Thanks.

I ordered the touch up kit to repair some small dings and deep scratches in the paint of my 2002 suburban to prevent rust. The paint was a quite good match (probably original paintjob is slightly faded/changed since older vehicle) but not perfect. (Note that the paint originally looked way too dark in the bottle, but once I shook it well, color was very very close.) No instructions came with the kit, but I was able to figure things out without too much trouble. Little bit difficult to use the brushes that came with the kit-- primer went on too thick, touch up paint went on too thin and took several layers. Could have made it look better if I'd taken more time/been more careful, but ended up reasonably cosmetic. As long as it holds up and doesn't rust, I'll be happy.

I recently ordered a paintable front grill, and towing mirrors for my 2002 Suburban. I didn't want to pay $400 to have them painted so I looked for another option. I found this product online while I was searching around and the reviews looked great. I have to say I was bit of a sceptic at first. I ordered a couple cans of the Dark Grey paint, primer, and clear coat. It was very affordable and came in the next week. I sprayed a sample on the test strip that was included. It was an exact match to the factory color. I did all my prep work and applied the primer. After the primer was good to go I then applied a couple coats of the base. I came back the next day and added 2 coats of clear. The paint was very easy to apply just be sure to keep the can moving to avoid runs. After everything was dry I installed them on my truck. It looks like the grill and mirrors were painted by a professional. I didn't even use a full can of the paint for this project so I have plenty for later. I would highly recommend this product for your DIY project.
