CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2001 Chevrolet Monza, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Chevrolet Monza is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rob Lands L, owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban from Princeton, LA

I recently ordered a paintable front grill, and towing mirrors for my 2002 Suburban. I didn't want to pay $400 to have them painted so I looked for another option. I found this product online while I was searching around and the reviews looked great. I have to say I was bit of a sceptic at first. I ordered a couple cans of the Dark Grey paint, primer, and clear coat. It was very affordable and came in the next week. I sprayed a sample on the test strip that was included. It was an exact match to the factory color. I did all my prep work and applied the primer. After the primer was good to go I then applied a couple coats of the base. I came back the next day and added 2 coats of clear. The paint was very easy to apply just be sure to keep the can moving to avoid runs. After everything was dry I installed them on my truck. It looks like the grill and mirrors were painted by a professional. I didn't even use a full can of the paint for this project so I have plenty for later. I would highly recommend this product for your DIY project.

Jody H, owner of a 2002 Chevrolet from The Villages, FL

I was apprehensive about spraying the paint on some scratches on the van's doors fearing mismatch and the appearance of an amateur attempt at touch up. The vehicle's exterior is nearly pristine with almost 240,000 miles on the odometer, so it's apparent it's been maintained and cared for. I couldn't be happier with the results! The scratches disappeared, and if you didn't know where to look, you'd never know they were there in the first place. The spray can is in the glove compartment, just in case, and automotivetouchup.com is in my Favorites folder. You saved me a bundle of money not having to use a body shop. Thank you!
