CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2001 Chevrolet Blazer, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Chevrolet Blazer is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Stanley B, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer from Wilkes Barre, PA

I'm very pleased with the color match, on my 2001 Chevy blazer. Old paint is 16 yrs old. Sent sample in for my hood. Miss Sheila had paint mixed went out of her way to send sample back. The employees pride in mixing paint. Micro finish is my paint store Highly recommended. 5 ***** Thanks Microfinish

Jeff A, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer from Bartlett, IL

The product was easy to apply. The color was a shade too dark (due to the fading of original paint). I used the paint code from the glove box and it kept bringing up the s10 pickup. I have an s10 Blazer, so I don't know if that had anything to do with the color being a little bit off. Overall, very pleased with the product and my Blazer looks a lot better than the rust bucket that it had become.

K, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer from Discovery Bay, CA

The color matched perfectly and the quality of the paint was great.

RandyR, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer from Ellsworth, MI

My experience has been all positive. My orders have been filled and shipped quickly. The color match has been right on and, after clear coating, the painted areas are usually a very good match. I consider myself an amateur painter and my results have been beyond my expectations. I would encourage more people like me to give painting a try. You might be surprised how professional these products make you look!
