The "touch-up paint" matched my original color darn near perfectly. The 'clear coat' touchup worked significantly better than I expected. My truck has always been in the garage and well preserved for it's age, but it is an older truck. When I got a few small but somewhat deep scratches on the tail gate I decided to 'fix it myself'. The end result came out a lot better than I expected...given my lack of experience doing this.

I order the touch up aerosol spray for my hood, it turned out so good I reordered. Got some for my top, I know it was for touch up, but I the done entire top and hood.Sanded top and primed it, same with hood. Used 400-600 grit. Make sure you get all old clear coat off before priming, I used a tough sponge and wrapped sandpaper around it. Worked perfect. I used 3 cans for top and 3 cans for hood. 2 cans of clear coat for each one. If you order buy the spray handle. Worth every penny. Saved a lot of money. Take your time.

I needed to fix some fender rust on my 00 Silverado and ordered Automotive Touchup to spray finish the repair. I used their primer followed by the base coat and then clear coat. Even though I was careful to keep the paint agitated, I was concerned that because the original paint is metallic I would have a real problem matching the finish. I am happy to report that the finish came out great. After color sanding and polishing, I was even more amazed that the difference between the new finish and 15-year-old original finish was barely discernible.

This is very good paint. The color match was perfect. I purchased three spray cans. I painted my hood and done some trim work, if you buy purchase the spray handle. Makes it a lot easier to spray.

The paint I ordered turned out to be a PERFECT MATCH! The vehicle is a 2000 model GM pickup truck and when I went to the dealer to get paint, it has been discontinued by GM. But Automotive Touch Up has it. Coverage was great and I really appreciated the instructions on the can since this was my very first body repair job.
