CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2000 Chevrolet Avalanche, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Chevrolet Avalanche is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Adam Stratton, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Impala from Gowen, MI

I found Automotive Touchup a few years ago for the first time. I used their paint for the replacement of both my outside mirrors. This time around, I needed more of their great quality paint to use with the replacement of both front fenders. They typically rust out at the thin section towards the bottom. My order has always been correct and the color match for my impala is Jasper green, which I never knew until I found Automotive touchup. Thanks Automotive Touchup!

Jacob G, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier from Moberly, MO

Used the paint and clear coat on some louvers I bought for my Cavalier. The only thing that kinda sucked was that I ran out of paint half way through the louvers for the back windshield. Other than that the color matched perfectly, and I'm gonna have to buy the paint again to finish the job, but that will probably have to be around spring. To cold here to finish the job now, lol. Thanks for a great product and good, fast service.
