CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2000 Chevrolet Metro, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Chevrolet Metro is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Robert F, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Prizm from North Branford, CT

I purchased a can of paint to cover some chips of paint on the bumpers of a 2001 corolla. when I first put it on I was not happy with the results, but after it dried it blended in very well. I was very happy with the results. I still have to put the clear coat on, but just the base coat covered very well. Bob, Connecticut

John R, owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Impala from Tiverton, RI

I had chips and scratches on the hood of my Chevy and someone had swiped my bumper on the rear passenger side and left 6 distinct lines on it. When I touched up the affected areas, you could not see the chips and scratches any more. The color matched perfectly and I will be purchasing more for my wife and son's cars. I will also be purchasing your clearcoat to cover the touch-ups. Thanks a million !!
