CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Timothy Z, owner of a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from Henderson, NV

After 2 attempts to paint a new fender that was bare metal when I received it with color match spray paint I purchased from Pep Boys it wasn't even close to a match. I am by no means an expert body repair man and thought it was my prep work that caused it the first time. I carefully followed the prep instructions the second time in hopes I would get close to a match and again not even close. Than I decided to give Automotivetouchup a chance and as the saying goes three is a charm. Perfect match almost factory look. I wish I would have chosen automotivetouchup the first time but hope this will help others looking to get a quality match for their auto body repair. I highly recommend them. The Product is a little more expensive and takes longer to receive it but well worth it believe me!!!!!!

John E, owner of a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from Scottdale, GA

Great service, great color match! Product sprays great, easy to blend.

Mike S, owner of a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro from Manassas, VA

Thanks for such a great product at an excellent price. I had some hail damage on one side of my car and the hood. My insurance paid to have it fixed, but the car didn't look right with a new paint job on the damaged half and not the rest of the vehicle. I found your website and purchased several of your 12 oz cans of paint and primer along with a few other products from your shop. When everything arrived I went into my garage and taped up everything that had already been painted along with all of the trim and windows, then I went to work with the primer coating and I was surprised at how little it took for one whole side of the car, I let it dry for a half hour and then sanded it nice and smooth before I put the base coat on I used the tack cloth that I also purchased from your shop. After everything was ready and prepped, I started spraying the base coating on and again I was amazed at how nice it laid down, but even more I couldn't believe that it only took three 12 oz cans to paint half of the car, and I laid it on nice and thick. I waited for a hour or so and it was dry, so I checked it out before applying the clear coating and it looked fine when I wetted it down with a wet sponge and then I started laying the clear coat over the base coat and it lit up so beautiful that I could hardly wait to see the finished product. I used two cans of your 12 oz clear coat on the base coat and it covered very nicely. I let it dry for an hour and then I put one more can of clear coa
