To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Chevrolet Full Pickup, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Paint matched as they said it would do, I am not a professional painter. I just wanted to take care of the rust around the top of my drivers door and the bottom of the door. According to my wife my 1999 /Chevy looks great now. Always remember be patient while applying coats, primer, base gloss, follow directions. Be sure if you are sanding to erase rust get it all and expand around the rest area. Paint and help from them is Excellent!!!!!!!
