2012 BMW 535i, color X08. Over five years I've repaired two fender scrapes and one bumper dent. First time I ordered AutomotiveTouchup primer, base, and clear spray cans, filler, and some materials. Watched their video and some others on the web, and did the job. Finished repair and blending (along fender creases) were not detectable in sun or shade. After that bought a good spray gun for my compressor (and respirator) and used their spray-ready products. (Thought it might be easier - it wasn't) Had to re-do one of the repairs that was detectable. Tedious for a novice but doable; a bit of a learning curve. Heat gun helped with fender dent and I like 2000 grit wet/dry for final sanding.

Love the paint pen. You know those irritating tiny rock chip on the hood and catches wax and now you have white spots. Clean it and applied the paint pen, awesome! You just have be careful and prime the paint first, but all in all the hood turn out great. note: Just don't look very close, you will see the raised paint.
