CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 BMW Alpina B7, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Click here for BMW paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 BMW Alpina B7 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Phil Wallace, owner of a 2010 BMW X3 from Dana Point, CA

My car had various scratches and chips on the bumpers and door handles. With your touch-up pen the scratches and chips virtually disappeared. The color blended well,a deep metallic red, which I thought would be very difficult to match. Thanks for saving me from a very expensive paint job.

Kevin D, owner of a 2010 BMW X5 from Bainbridge Is, WA

The paint was nearly an exact match and good quality. Unfortunately, I only got to apply two coats. I accidentally set the can on the edge of my bench and it fell to the floor and split open on impact. All of the contents ended up on the garage floor and on any item within 10 feet of impact. I've never had an aerosol can do that before, so a thicker walled can might be a good idea. Including an information sheet on prep in the package would be helpful too. I don't touch up my vehicle very often. [ATU Note: We use the thickest steel can recognized by USA Dept of Transportation law "2Q."]
