CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2003 BMW 5-Series, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Click here for BMW paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 BMW 5-Series is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Teddy H, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from West Chester, PA

Paint match was excellent, you cannot tell it was touched up from five feet away. I purchased the brush-in-bottle primer, touch up paint, and clear coat. I was extremely pleased with the quality and value of the products I received. Although this was my first ever touch up job, the instructions on the website made the job easy and were the primary reason for the excellent results.

Clifford B, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from MA

My wife's 2003 Orient Blue BMW 525 I had parking lot scuff on the right rear door/fender and paint failure on the entire rear bumper. The bumper was rough and some of the paint had peeled off. We checked with the body shop and the cost was almost $2,000. There was no deformity just paint damage. I used Automotive Touch Up primer, plastic adhesion, prep, base and clear coat to do the fix. Looks like factory fresh - perfect match. My Granddaughter's Toyota Prius is scheduled next - new driver and garage door - fortunately no metal damage. I have high confidence Automotive Touch Up is going to make Grandpa a hero.

Edwin W, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from MD

I believe this is the third time I've used your touch up paint and with good result. The last 2 times were to fill some stone chips. Filling chips, the shade seems to be darker than OEM paint but when I actually repaired and sprayed the corner of a bumper, on a previous car, the shade was spot on.

Robert F, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Westlake, OH

Shipping time was reasonable and the color match is very good. This is all good with no negatives. Robert Fyfe, Westlake, Ohio.

MLMorrison, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Gainesville, FL

This morning I sprayed my rear bumper & both divers mirrors..... what a difference! The color was spot on, even though my paint is 13 years old. Next, a color paint pin for the small stuff. Thanks.......

Eric, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from OH

Matched 13 year old paint so well I couldn't even tell what I had touched up. Excellent product at a very reasonable price.

Stewart M, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Miami, FL

I was very skeptical before I bought. I purchased the BMW white for my 2003 Series 5 wagon. Even though the car is 12 years old, I was more than satisfied with the match so far for the dings on the front bumper. I would recommend it to anyone.

Boyan N, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Sterling, VA

The color match is awesome and the volume of the paint for the price it's awesome too, I paint the whole front and rear bumper on my BMW e39 with only two cans of spray paint.

Shawn, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Calgary, AB

Had to repair a broken bumper on a BMW. Once the repair work was complete and finishing with the red primer, red paint and clear coat the blend and color match was very good.

Rene S, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Teaneck, NJ

Excellent product, perfect color match as well.

Tim B, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Laurel, MD

Color came out great. Products are excellent!

Mike D, owner of a 2003 BMW 5-Series from Dallas, GA

Paint arrived in a few days packed really well. The Titanium Gray is a perfect match for my BMW, which I purchased used with lots of "parking lot disease". Touched up the major areas first, and the additional clear coat really helped blend the paint to the rest of the finish. Four times the amount of paint for less than half the dealership price! Can't beat that. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be the child proof cap--get rid of that and replace with a better cap and seal gasket (one that stays in the cap every time you open the glass bottle). For precise paint application on very small chips, I use a toothpick, but the integral cap brush works on just about everything else. The included small BB inside the bottle helps mix the paint, so you won't have to stir with a small stick. I've wasted money in the past on dealership OEM touch up paint, because it usually turns solid in a few months, or the cheap plastic tube cracks open. No more dealerships! Its Automotive Touchup from now on! I'll be ordering touch up paint for my wife's car soon...
