CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 BMW 3-SERIES Individual, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 BMW 3-SERIES Individual is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ben, owner of a 1999 BMW 3-Series Individual from Akron, OH

It took awhile to arrive, but the products I received were of exemplary quality, and the color matches perfectly!

Jim Haines, owner of a 2000 BMW Z3 from Tucson

I have a 200 BMW Z3 roadster that was in pristine condition save for some dents in the low-hanging air dam at the front resulting from unintended contact with concrete curbs in parking lots. I decided to patch the dents and dings myself using polyester filler. After sanding and priming, I used Automotive Touchup Base coat color mixed to match the rare and beautiful BMW Sienna Red Metallic color (BMW code 362). I was absolutely blown away by the perfect color match with the thirteen year old finish. After clear coating, it is indistinguishable from the original paint, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality retouch job and doesn't mind paying a few extra bucks for a superior quality product.

Grant M, owner of a 2000 BMW 3-Series Cabrio from San Ramon, CA

AutomotiveTouchup has been my go-to site for touch-up paint for my vehicles. Mostly, I have owned BMW automobiles, 12 of them, and the colors were spot on with the exception of my most recent purchase of BMW Steel Blue. Turns out that is was closer to purple than the Steel Blue. Other than that, I have been a happy customer and will continue to purchase based on exceptional pricing /colors, as compared to the dealership. A stunning value!
