Restore Your 1962 BMW (All Models) Finish In Two Steps

Select Your BMW's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1962 BMW (All Models) using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Click here for BMW paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Please note: The 'All Models' pages sometimes have a large amount of results to scroll through, if your vehicle's model is in the list of options on the prior screen we recommend trying that first.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1962 BMW (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

DON BALL, owner of a BMW from Inver Grove Heights, MN

I just ordered some paint for my BMW. I thought I'd pass along that I found your site quite easily in a Google search and it was really easy for me to order my paint. So, good job! I can't wait to receive the product.

William Bagby, owner of a BMW from Jonesboro, GA

I just wanted to follow-up and say that you deliver an AWESOME product. I (fortunately) did not have to use your paint when it arrived, but over the weekend, I accidently knocked a chunk of paint off of the side panel of my BMW motorcycle. I thought for sure that this would be a trip to the paint shop, but figured it was no loss to try and touch it up with your paint and see how it goes. The paint is the perfect viscosity - not thick and globby like most paints. Being thin and workable, I was able to layer the paint in three layers and completely fill the damaged area. The color match is perfect. After I finished the job, I realized that unless one is looking for the damaged area, they won't find it. As you can tell, I am impressed. Your product saved me what I thought would be a $300 trip to the paint shop.
