CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Volvo C7, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Volvo paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Volvo C7 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David, owner of a 2000 Volvo V40 from IL

The color match was perfect. Despite some negative reviews I was bit hesitant as a Do it yourself type. Now very pleased. THANKS.

Roger M, owner of a 2000 Volvo S70 from Prunedale, CA

This is very good paint! Easy to work with and very good color match. Only downside is that the Volvo Mystic Silver is transparent and shows underneath flaws. I plan on using regular grey primer after re sanding and then apply color base and clear coat again to my sun baked 15 year old bumper.
