CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Volkswagen C-Trek, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2017 Volkswagen C-Trek is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Richard Y, owner of a 2016 Volkswagen Touareg from Indianapolis, IN

Great color match, good price, quick shipping.

Randal W, owner of a 2016 Volkswagen Passat from New Palestine, IN

The primer I bought from you seem to react negatively with the primer that came on the new plastic mirror housing from Volkswagen. The spray primer bubbled in many areas even though I had cleaned the surface prior to spraying. After it dried I sanded the roughness out and sprayed the primer again. It still had some issues but I was able to smooth it out and then spray the basecoat. The basecoat went on great with no issues. The 2K clearcoat wanted to run on me but after it dried 24 hrs I was able to wet sand the runs flat with 800 and 1500 grit sandpaper, then compound and polish the finish to look great. The basecoat color match was great.
