CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2016 Volkswagen Phideon, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2016 Volkswagen Phideon is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David P S, owner of a 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan from Amado, AZ

I have used your company many times for my vehicles. I change vehicles more often than most people change their socks. Your colors are always perfect but my biggest complaint is the bottle cap. Even if I clean all the paint off of the bottle rim and inside the cap, it seems as though the cap is almost impossible to remove at a later time. I usually end up tapping the top of the cap on the top with a small plastic hammer making sure to hit it evenly all along the top rim. But, even then, the cap is very difficult to remove after the initial use. Is there a magic formula or secret trick for doing this that I am missing? Of course, the problem is with the so called "Child Proof Lid" that just continues to slip no matter how much pressure I put on the top while attempting to remove it. Thanks very much, David Sader [ATU Note: Sorry you couldn't get the cap off. Occasionally we will replace the bottle. While I seldom have problems getting the cap off I do know it can be a pain. Channellock pliers work well for removing a child resistant cap.]

Appreciated Customer, owner of a 2015 Volkswagen GTI

The order arrived intact and the paint is a perfect match. I wish I was as skilled at applying the paint as they are in making it.
