CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Volkswagen Taigo, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Volkswagen Taigo is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Bill V, owner of a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Excellent color match (Salsa Red on our 2009 Jetta). Much better application than the VW dealer's paint stick and much more paint for less. Thanks!

Louis L, owner of a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta from Montclair, NJ

I purchased this to paint a trunk lip spoiler. The color match is very good, which is saying a lot given that my vehicle is a 2009, and has likely faded a bit. The clear coat dries to a very smooth, shiny finish and, when dry, the combo matches the factory paint nicely. The primary issue I have is, while the can still feels about half full, there is less color coverage/pigmentation than when it was full, despite shaking it up for over a minute. I would purchase from automotive touch up again.
