CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Volkswagen Golf, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for Volkswagen paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Volkswagen Golf is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Lou E, owner of a 2010 Volkswagen Golf from Wheaton, IL

I previously purchased touchup paint from the dealer. It did not cover the chip, even after a few applications. When I used the AutomotiveTouchup paint, the chip was covered the first time.

Konstantin G, owner of a 2010 Volkswagen Golf from Wayland, MA

Touch up pens have felt tip which is good for big blemishes like dents and chips but does not work at all on something small like scratch. Scratches are usually very thin and felt tip leaves paint on the side where it is not needed at all, bulging up. While color has perfect match, extra paint is very visible. I don't know how long this pen will last neither. Felt tip is saturated with paint and if paint dries the pen is dead. I think the option to get thin metal nozzle like some glues have will make things better for light repairs.

Cindy W, owner of a 2010 Volkswagen CC from VA

Recently bought a 2010 VW Comfort Cruiser (which I LOVE) - it was well maintained by the previous owner, but was missing the tow hook cover panel on the back bumper. I ordered the matching paint from your company, and it turned out great! You can't even tell the piece was added. I'm going to keep the remaining paint in case I need to do any more touch-ups since it worked so well.
