CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Volkswagen Sagitar, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for Volkswagen paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Volkswagen Sagitar is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ted C, owner of a 2008 Volkswagen Passat from New Paltz, NY

Not an easy color to match up depending on how the light is hitting it but you did great. The spray nozzle takes a lot of pressure to get it to spray but has a nice pattern. Good suggestion on the test card to apply a clear coat for comparison. Always glad to buy from you.

Joe S, owner of a 2008 Volkswagen Eos from Parma, OH

This is my second time using. My first match is OK at best but the real color is a white base with candy orange over so for a single color touch up its not bad nor can I fault them. It passes from 10 foot plus or if the car is moving you can't see it. The current match is a heavy blue metallic and wow matches dead on. If you have good touch up skills you can't see the difference. Very pleased with the color match
