CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Volkswagen Lavida, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Volkswagen Lavida is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Andrew, owner of a 2010 Volkswagen Passat from Santa Cruz, CA

My car was keyed and it involved multiple panels. The scratches went down to the primer and I could only rub out some of the more superficial scratches. I filled and wet-sanded the scratches with your paint and the match was excellent. I later applied the clear coat, sanded, rubbing compound then polish and it looks really good. I wish the applicator brush was finer, there was a much wider paint build up than I needed. I could have been much more precise with a finer brush applicator. The clear coat goes on very irregular with a brush and may have been more "user-friendly" if it were a bit thinner. Sorry no photos.

Ralph M, owner of a 2010 Volkswagen New Beetle from New Rochelle, NY

Excellent color match. I buy and sell cars and will be ordering again. Ralph New Rochelle, NY
