CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Volkswagen Gol, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Volkswagen Gol is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kenneth J, owner of a 2007 Volkswagen New Beetle Conv from Columbia, SC

Just wanted to let you know the paint matched perfectly! My wife's Beetle had some areas on the driver's side of the front bumper where the clearcoat was peeling. Despite being very careful, I sanded through the color in a few places. I repainted the driver's side of the bumper and blended the paint into the right side. Once the base coat dried, I lightly sanded the painted area with 1500 grit wet/dry. Three coats of clearcoat later it looked like new again. Thanks. You saved me several hundred dollars.

Elias C, owner of a 2007 Volkswagen Eos from CA

I know this is suuuppeeerrr cliche but this is very high quality and just as importantly, it’s reasonably priced. Love the the accuracy of the colors.
