Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Volkswagen Grand California is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Alyssa W, owner of a 2005 Volkswagen New Beetle Conv from Austin, TX

I bought Sundown Orange for VW Beetle to cover a few, small scratch marks. The color was almost a perfect match - it just a tad bit lighter than the paint on the car. A few coats needed on the small scratched areas to blend in with the rest of the car. Do NOT use the brush the paint comes with, you won't get a smooth, blended look.

Cynthia O, owner of a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta from Phoenix, AZ

My only complaint is I had to order the color for a 2002 VW Beetle to get the correct color code. Other than that the color was a -perfect- match to my 2005 Blue Lagoon Jetta GLI. I didn't expect much from a touch up pen but because the color was such a perfect match, even with the EXTENSIVE rock chipping on the front end of this car you can't see -any- of it when you're 5ft from the car. That's all I wanted, was to make the damage much less noticeable. Some day I'll order a new bumper and you can bet your rear I'll be back for some paint cans to do that job too!
