CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Volkswagen T-Cross, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for Volkswagen paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Volkswagen T-Cross is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Nathan, owner of a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta

The spray cans spray the best ever! They compensate for my inexperience. I tried competing products when I ran out of paint, and it was a waste of time, money, and patience. Plus, Automotivetouchup got the color dead on every time. The other cans I got from a competitor were off enough to notice. Thank you for providing such a great product at a competitive price. Now, if we could only work out away to get the cans shipped faster :-) Nathan

Richard H, owner of a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta from San Diego, CA

I was so happy to find this place and the paint they sell. I have an older blue VW Jetta, the paint Is starting to fade and look bad but more annoying was the white oxidation that was happening on the entire top of the car and the driver door. I have tried a few products that claim to help smooth out the oxidation but they didn’t work so I decided I was just going to have to get my car painted. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a paint job though, so I thought I'd try some touch up paint beforehand. I thought I'd give it a try and if it turned out bad, It wouldn't matter that much, since I was getting ready to get the car painted anyway and it wouldn't be a big money loss either. I'm so glad I did try this place. The paint color I ordered is the perfect color. I ordered a spray can that had plenty of paint to cover the top of the car, I did three coats of paint with it. My car looked so much better so quickly. I also did some touch up paint on only the driver door and when I compare the front and back doors on the drive side, side by side, it still looks like a great match. I really appreciated the demo videos they have at their website too about getting the car ready and then actually painting. Definitely wear safety glasses and a nose, mouth cover when you use the paint. I would definitely recommend their products here. It so nice to drive my car again and not be embarrassed by the horrible paint and oxidation it had.
