Not true! The paint I received was a perfect match.
I've kept my bug in pristine condition (a little over 40,000 miles) and was very much bothered by a few (but visible) scratches on the back bumper. It would have cost a minimum of $5,000 had I taken it to a regular body shop. I give this product 5 stars.

The front grille of my 1999 VW New Beetle got ruined in an accident. I purchased a new grille but needed to paint it the color of the car. I was amazed at how beautiful the base coat and clear coal made the grille look. The color match was beyond my expectation and the grille looks like new. Total cost for base coat/clear coat was only $37.00

I was very pleased with the paint and other materials I received. The color match was almost perfect. The only reason it wasn't a perfect match was due to the age of the paint on the rest of the car. The paint applied easily and the clearcoat was even easier. The finished result was excellent!

Paint preparation delays where more than acceptable.
The product is EXACTLY what was required and of excellent quality. The spray paint applied really easily and covered the area's quickly.
As for the touch up paint, same thing. The thickness of it allowed me to cover deep scratches without any filling work.
OVER ALL, THESE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

Match was only fair, but then again the vehicle is a 1999 and normal weathering has taken place on it.
I am sure that match would have been just fine on a newer vehicle. A good product!
