To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2014 Toyota MR2, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The touch up paint was a good match, but slightly darker than the original. However, the car is 2 years old so there may be some fading since it is outside 24x7. The clear coat seemed to be thick and was a little difficult to put on to get a smooth appearance. From a distance it looks okay, but close up you can tell where it has been touched up.
