CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Toyota Highlander, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 Toyota Highlander is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Foster M, owner of a 2011 Toyota Highlander from Easton, CT

Well my Toyota Highlander has a white pearl finish. With the help of automotivetouchup it came out perfect! My first try I didn’t fill the imperfections (a mistake). Second time I did the right job and the work came out great with a perfect match. Next I am chasing other spots on the car.

Jimmy, owner of a 2011 Toyota Highlander from White Plains, NY

My SUV was cut off in the snow and kissed a guard rail with just a few minor paint chips/scratches, one each on the fender, door and 1/4 panel. Two half inch chips were down to the sheet metal so I wanted to protect the metal promptly. I have white pearl coat paint. Your touch up kit included the primer, white base coat, white pearl coat and clear coat. I carefully light sanded the chips then applied an even primer coat, then two coats of white base followed by two coats of pearl base and finally a clear coat. I took my time and applied even coats without loading up the paint. I allowed 30 minutes drying time between coats ( 60 degrees in my garage) and applied a light 5 minute heat gun application to each coat to ensure drying. After a few days I polished the panels. Good product and Patience is key when trying to get a quality result. I'm happy with the results. The color is correct and only if you look closely will you see the touch up. From six feet away it blends right in and the sheet metal is protected. Thanks for the quality products at a reasonable price.

Brad, owner of a 2011 Toyota Highlander from Crofton, MD

My car had a few scratches from normal wear and tear plus a big dent from a pole that popped up from nowhere according to the wife. Anyways, all is great now. This paint matches our Toyota Highlander perfectly. I would definitely order again if I need more automotive paint.

Fred K, owner of a 2011 Toyota Highlander from North Billerica, MA

I bought a used 2015 Corolla and it had some nasty dings and scrapes. I bought the factory touch up but it didn't do it. I ordered your paint and did some cleaning and light sanding and it was a perfect match. A little polishing with compound and a coat of clear coat and it Is just about perfect. I also did the same thing to my 2011 Highlander that also was bought with some nasty scratches on the trunk lid. Same results. Perfect match. I used the same simple process. It is up to you. The more prep you do the better it will be but the colors are a perfect match.

Sandy D, owner of a 2011 Toyota Highlander from Morganfield, KY

We had tried liquid touch up paint but you could tell it. The size of the paint that was chipped off was about the size of a quarter. I watched a video online on how to repair it. I ordered the spray paint from Automotivetouchup.com. The liquid paint was not a good match but was the same code as the spray paint. We were trying to fix the spot only, but the video showed how to blend it into a larger area. We taped and covered the car so nothing else had overspray on it. My husband sprayed two coats of color and four coats of top coat. After we sanded the other paint down a little. There is a slight difference in the color, but you would have to know that it had been touched up to even notice it. We are very satisfied!!
