To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. This is a great product and a great company. My only suggestion would be better step by step instructions with each order....I had a base coat/mid coat application and I was not quite sure if I should use the mid coat after each application of the base coat or only after all base coats had been applied. Regardless, the paint was a perfect match, the job came out perfectly and I will now do all my own dent repairs and touch up paint jobs. This is a really great painting system and wonderful company.
