CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Toyota Aurion, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Toyota Aurion is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mike A, owner of a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid from Maple Valley, WA

I am totally impressed. I was a little nervous about attempting the touch up. But, with a rare sunny Fall day, I decided to do it. There were numerous scrapes mostly on the front bumper... very unsightly. I couldn't believe how easy this was. A quick sanding with ultra fine sand paper, spray on some primer, spray the color and finish with the gloss coating. Perfect match. There is a very slight difference since the old paint adjoining has been subject to the elements for the last six years, but it's not enough to really notice. I am very pleased with the results.

Douglas S, owner of a 2008 Toyota Matrix from College Station, TX

The paint was a perfect match - can't tell that there is a new panel. This looks great for my first time of painting and replacing a panel. Next time I would go with more coats of primer and wet sand between coats with 1000 paper. Also I see now why paint booths are basically clean rooms - any speck of dust will show up. But again, for my first try, and not looking at it real close, it looks great.
