To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Toyota Matrix, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The paint was a perfect match - can't tell that there is a new panel. This looks great for my first time of painting and replacing a panel. Next time I would go with more coats of primer and wet sand between coats with 1000 paper. Also I see now why paint booths are basically clean rooms - any speck of dust will show up. But again, for my first try, and not looking at it real close, it looks great.
