CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Toyota Highlander, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Toyota Highlander is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jack M, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Schwenksville, PA

I have used your touch up paint on my last three vehicles, and I am completely satisfied with your product. I plan to do even more business with you in the near future.

Ty S, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Yorktown, VA

My first attempt at repairing paint loss on hood of Toyota. My 2008 wasn't included in the paint recall for the pearl white paint, so I wanted to try to repair myself. I would recommend any novice to paint the entire panel and do not try to blend with existing color. Make sure you have enough clear-coat. I needed 2 cans to do the job on my hood. Also, be aware of the build-up at the nozzle creating drips. This is not a problem for a fender, but surface parallel to the ground. I had to contend with drips on some coats. Just spray short times and clean nozzle often. After a polish with rubbing compound, you think it was a factory repair. Saved me $800-$1000 (estimate to paint the hood).

Eli T, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Lagrange, GA

This touch up paint was a perfect match you can't even tell where it was applied.

Todd Z, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from North Branch, MN

This was the only source I found that carried my color. I am a novice, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to get my 2 inch dent repaired. The suggestions on the web site and spray can were helpful. The paint match was good. The texture came out rougher than the factory paint but like I said, I'm a novice.

Bob L, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Sandwich, MA

Great match of color.... Thanks

Jon L, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from East Brunswick, NJ

I received the products on time as promised.

Delighted Customer, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from California

This is the only touch up paint that is right on the spot. I received my spray paint and the gloss spray. Applied it on my vehicle and it matched the color perfectly. The scratches on my bumper is no longer visible.

Judy L, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Dallas, OR

THANK YOU! Your product(s) did exactly as I'd hoped. I'm thankful my car is light colored, and that in my inexperience, I was able to get a 'somewhat' good look to the finish...and if it doesn't look professional, it certainly isn't your fault...the two spray cans arrived in great shape (why can't things I ship arrive at destinations in as good shape?)...and I went right to work on my left front bumper. Thank you, thank you. Judy

Richard A, owner of a 2008 Toyota Highlander from Hagerstown, MD

Saved about $300 bucks by painting my front and rear bumper covers myself with the aerosol spray from AutomotiveTouchup. The paint match was spot on and just ordered more to do some finish work on a subwoofer enclosure. If you're thinking of some 'do it yourself save big money' work this is without a question the place to get what you need. Great products and great prices!!!! Chip Aufdem-Brinke 2008 Highlander
