To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Toyota MR2, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Service, price, delivery and color match were great. I would have liked it if they had a video about repairing a large scratch. What I did turned out OK, but it wasn't until I had got into starting the job that I learned it was more complicated than I had anticipated (I did not know that after the clearcoat I would have to wet sand the spot with two grades of sandpaper, rubbing compound, polish, etc.) A video explaining all those steps would have been helpful. I still think this is a great company. It just takes some experience to learn the little ins and outs of doing these types of things correctly.
