CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Toyota Mirai, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Toyota Mirai is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dragos B, owner of a 2003 Toyota Matrix from Saint Peters, MO

I had a little fender bender with one of my neighbors truck and decided to fix it myself for $45 rather than take the car to a shop and pay $1500. I can find better uses for that money. Besides my car already has 217,000 miles and I don't really care if it's not perfect. The paint color is very close to the original. It is probably the closest I can find anywhere. Thanks.

Elijah L, owner of a 2003 Toyota Echo from Chandler, AZ

So far the product has prove true to color. The nozzle tip seems a little stiff, but spray pattern fans out properly. We are trying to cover a new bumper and assumed that (1) can would cover the whole thing, but we missed it by 20%. We will need to buy another can to finish job. Overall we are pleased with results.
