CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2003 Toyota Solara, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Toyota Solara is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Glenn R, owner of a 2003 Toyota Solara from Lagro, IN

Great job, ATU, great job! The weather here in Indiana won't allow me to finish my project until spring, but I did a test shot on a 50-degree day and the color seems to match perfectly. I'm a repeat customer, having dome some amateur body work to avoid expensive body shops. In fact the current job is to re-do some shoddy work after a minor accident with excessive body filler which was separating from the sheet metal. I caught it in time to avoid rust-through, so I'll be ok, but I expect excellent results. with minimal expense.

Stephen G, owner of a 2003 Toyota Solara from Cape Coral, FL

Always a good experience when ordering the products. I bought a spray can of base coat and a spray can of clear lacquer to repaint the side view mirror and rocker panel. The paint color was spot on, after five coats of lacquer and final sanding/buffing you would never know that it wasn’t the original body paint. With the quick shipping, great customer service and affordable pricing, Automotivetouchup is my go to place from now on.

Stephen G, owner of a 2003 Toyota Solara from Cape Coral, FL

I had a small rust spot under the trim of the rear quarter window right where the trim ends at the door. I prepped the area and sealed it with sealer primer, cleaned the surface, gave it several coats of the base and five coats of clear lacquer. Amazing, perfect color match and an excellent finish. Still needs to be rubbed out, but would definitely recommend the products. Wish I could have downloaded a picture, a picture is worth a thousand words.

LJK, owner of a 2003 Toyota Solara from Huntingdon, PA

Since my Toyota Solara is 10 years old and un-garaged there are lots of nicks and scratches so finding your touchup paint was great as the touchups are a perfect match. People remark what a beautiful car it is. Thank you.
