CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Toyota Highlander, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Toyota Highlander is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jan A, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Danville, IN

We are very pleased with the paint for our 2002 Highlander. When my husband had a mishap with the front bumper, your representative expedited getting the new paint out the door for shipping. It arrived today and will give my husband time to repair the problem before our company arrives. Thanks so much for your help. Jan A.

Sue B, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Nashville, TN

Site was easy to use. Paint and clear coat came promptly. Match was very close and since on driver's side mirror no discernible difference. Very pleased and would use site again if needed. Thanks

B B, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Seattle, WA

The paint is a perfect match; real happy there. I just found it hard to use. The primer gushed; the paint left "brush strokes"; and the top coat made "strings" like glue. But the rust is covered up and that was what I really wanted to accomplish. Maybe I'm just inept and the product actually perfect.

Sylvia W, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from MD

Great Experience. The paint matched perfectly! A repair shop quoted $600 to repaint a bumper that had gotten scratched/gouged. We decided to try to fix it ourselves using the bumper repair kit, spray primer, spray paint and gloss. PERFECTION! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

John D, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from West Springfield, MA

Painted bumper and bottom of 2 doors. Perfect match.

Alex K, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Zelienople, PA

Awesome paint match. People are so surprised when they find out it came from a spray can. Love your paint.

Joseph S, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Louisville, KY

Perfect match on the paint. Thanks for the savings.

Miguel M, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Los Angeles, CA

Excellent service, perfect matched color, fast delivery, thanks.

Laura E, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Roswell, GA

We are extremely pleased with the perfect color match. Our 12 year old vehicle looks almost new after repainting the scratched bumper and fender flare.

Alfred G, owner of a 2002 Toyota Highlander from Lexington, KY

Over the past few years I have repaired six or seven dented plastic bumpers on our cars. The dents are usually on the corners and range from small to major. In some cases I ordered a brand-new bumper on the Internet rather than try and repair the damage to an existing bumper. I have used the full range of automotive touchup products to prepare the surface of the bumper, and then paint it, and then spray on the clear coat . And I am delighted to tell you that whether it was a replacement bumper or a repaired bumper the automotive touchup products matched the color exactly, and by the time you put the clear coat on you could never tell that it was replaced or repaired. Over time, we have managed to put dents dings and scratches into three of the four corners of our Toyota Highlander’s plastic bumpers. So one Saturday I started out with some sanding of the damaged areas to provide a good surface for the body filler to stick to. After more sanding of the body filler, I then applied the surface prep spray from AUTOMOTIVETOUCHUP, followed by the primer, followed by the base coat, followed by the gloss coat. The color match is so perfect that my wife could not tell which of the three corners of the car I had repaired. I have also ordered complete back bumper assemblies that were all primer ready for painting. Once again using your products, I was able to put a factory finish onto the new plastic parts. On another occasion, we had an automotive repair shop replace a back plastic bumper it cost over $700 for material the bumper and labor.
