CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2001 Toyota Fj Cruiser, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2001 Toyota Fj Cruiser is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Gerald, owner of a 2001 Toyota Avalon from Camden, SC

The first good news is that the spray paint from AutomotiveTouchup matches the original paint perfectly. The other good news is that even a novice can do a good job at repairing the damaged or deteriorated finish on his car. A suggestion to the novice: buy more paint than you think you'll need, since 12-ounce spray can probably has only five or six ounces of paint, and you'll need to spray three or four coats for good, uniform coverage. The cost of the paint is negligible if you compare it to the cost of having the work done in a body shop.

Thomas H, owner of a 2001 Toyota from Winter Springs, FL

Great service. I like the paint put in a glass bottle. The plastic ones I got from Toyota cracked around the top from just using it. Quick response also! Thanks.
