To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Toyota Grandlux, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The paint was a good match. Unfortunately you can't paint half a pickup with two cans. I didn't have the time to order more paint so I sprayed over the primer with the aerosol paint and clear coat that I had. Now my primer looks metallic and sort of blends in with the original paint. That will do until I get motivated to do it right.
