CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Toyota RAV4, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Toyota RAV4 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Constance E, owner of a 1997 Toyota RAV4 from OR

Fabulous color match for the "Ocean Mist Metallic" paint color on my '97 Rav4. Very happy. Thanks! :)

JOHN SCHIBIK, owner of a 1998 Toyota Camry from NAPLES

I needed help in finding the color code for my 1998 Toyota Camry. The person to whom I was referred at your organization performed a techno-miracle with the information I gave her.. She located the color code that I had purchased from you many years ago. It matched my car color. Great care, competence, and kindness. Blessings to 'her' and your company. Jack Schibik Naples Florida

Gary W CO, owner of a 1998 Toyota T100 from Highlands Ranch, CO

WOW!! I have a 1998 Toyota T-100 that I have pampered all it's life. Even though this truck is 15 years old, it looks like showroom material and runs like it will never stop (this truck is my old baby). I just recently found a bit of rust showing through where my topper hits the bed rail above the tail light. I found Automotive Touchup via internet search and ordered solvent, primer and paint. After wire brushing my trouble spot down to bare metal and preparing the surface with solvent and primer, I applied the touch-up paint. Once again, WOW....it's a PERFECT match! Great job guys and gals at Automotive Touchup!! You will be hearing from me (and my old baby) again!
